How many hours do I need to charge the solar bollard light before first use? 

Allow the solar bollard light to charge in direct sunlight for at least 8 hours before the first use. Please note that is 8 hours of full direct sunlight. An average day may see max 3-4 hours of optimal sunlight, so an elapsed charging time of at least 3 days before activating the bollard is ideal. During this charging time, ensure the bollard’s power switch (underside of top cap) is switched OFF so it doesn’t dissipate stored energy at night.
