y current pole has dusk to dawn capability already. Is this fixture compatible?

Yes, you can still use the Bentham Post Light on a circuit already controlled by an external photocontrol sensor. If you experience any interference between the pole’s photocell and the fixture’s photocell, you can place the provided sensor Cap over the Bentham’s photocell eye. However, the two sensors should work fine together.
