What size and type of wood screws are included?

The included wood screws are 4M x 25 (or 4mm x 25mm). That is 32 threads per inch. (Closest imperial equivalent is #8 at 1 in. length, but conversions are not exact.) These screws are flat head-type for use with a #2 Philips head driver bit. The Bentham Post Lantern includes four (4) wood screws, which you would use to pier-mount the fixture base to a wooden mounting surface, such as a pedestal or fence beam.
