Can this light be set to automatically only detect and light up only at night without having to manually turn the light off and on every day?

The motion activated solar floodlight has a photocell inside PIR sensor. It will not activate during the day except when the ‘Time’ dial is set to TEST position (see instructions for more details). If the light is turning ON during the day (and not in TEST position) it could be an indication of malfunction. If so, contact KODA support for a replacement unit, or return to the retailer of purchase.
