You may need to adjust the ‘Sensitivity’ dial. (Look for icon of man with radiating lines from head.) Sensitivity control is found under the solar floodlight’s PIR sensor. (See Instruction Manual for more information.)
When ‘Sensitivity’ is dialed high, flood lights are known to activate from the slightest movement, including wind or rain. You may wish to conduct a “walking test” in the flood light’s detection zone to ensure ‘Sensitivity’ is not dialed too low.
Finally, ensure that the floodlight is not too close to tree foliage, which may “trick” the motion sensor.
