The light does not turn on. What do I do?

Here are the most common reasons why your Bentham Outdoor Hanging Single Pendant Light is not turning on:

1. A switch controlling the light is turned off. Check to see that the controlling wall switch is turned ON.
2. The fuse is blown, or the circuit breaker is turned off. Replace the fuse and/or ensure the circuit breaker is turned on.
3. Faulty wire connection. Check all wiring with a non-contact voltage tester to ensure they are sufficiently energized.
4. It is daytime, and your light is tied to a photocontrol sensor (a.k.a “dusk-to-dawn” sensor) which is turning the light OFF during the day; then ON at night. Try observing the light at night to see if it turns on.
