If I buy a dimmable LED bulb, can I dim the Bentham hanging light?

We do not recommend it, but you can technically buy dimmable bulbs (in LED and incandescent), and it may be possible for you to dim the Bentham Single Hanging Pendant Light. However, be aware that many older dimming switches/circuits were originally intended for incandescent light bulbs. Often, these older dimming systems DO NOT play well with LED bulbs, even bulbs which are technically “dimmable”. (It is also possible for the dimming circuit & bulb to work FOR A WHILE, and then stop working). There is also a remote chance of damaging the dimming switch, circuit, bulb and/or fixture socket wiring when pairing dimmers with incompatible bulbs.
