My Square Ceiling Lights aren’t lining up straight down the hallway (not parallel to adjacent walls). It’s due to the screw hole locations on the mounting plate.

The Pro Series square flush mount ceiling lights include a square metal detachable mounting plate. Rather than fastening via the two holes, please try to use one of the sets of semi-circular slots around the plate’s middle opening. These can be used to fasten to an electrical junction box or device ring. The inner slots fit a wide variety of 3 in. round boxes/rings, while the outer slots fit many 4 in. round boxes. In addition, the plate has two pre-tapped holes that you can also utilize for outlet box attachment.

Our lights include two #8-32 x 3/4 in machine screws to use for fastening the mounting plate to the junction box / ring.
