Do I need to use sealant or caulk around my Koda Security Camera with Motion-Activated Floodlight's power box?

It is best to use sealant or caulk to prevent water from entering the junction box when hardwiring. It is not mandatory, but highly recommended if your Koda Security Camera with Motion-Activated Floodlight is not installed under a roof or awning.
